I have Opera 36+ on an old XP, just installed it. The installation took. But when I try to import bookmarks from HTML only a couple folders show up. I have tried HTML from Chrome, Firefox, IE.

Just won't take all the bookmarks. Now this post and many answers are here but like I said once LOGIN TO REPLY it took me off and now I can't find those particular post and comments.

Many thanks for any help. Jack ":-D

The bookmarks should have all appeared in the "Imported Bookmarks" section of the bookmarks manager.
Many people (not surprisingly!) expect them to appear in the normal folder and be immediately accessible, but it doesn't work quite like that.
        🙂

I'll look at that again but I've done many bookmarks that took a little finesse and I do always check every folder before I consider I have a problem. But I make mistakes like all so I'll check that again. However if 2 folders I found under one folder, tree whatever you'd call it were 2 of my bookmark headings seems all should have been there? But I usually always check IMPORTED. I'll get back to you if I have overlooked that for some reason and hearty THANKS! for taking time to answer. Jack ":-Dx
