      Hello, I have a trusted server located at ip (after resolving these short urls) go.ncsu.edu/jenkins-csc230 and go.ncsu.edu/jenkins-csc316

      I believe both are self-signed, and one of them is expired. I tried adding them to Trusted Root Certificate Authority store, warning still continues.

      And how do I make sure when importing certificate only apply to server's https authentication and not Windows Updates and such?

      Thanks!

        @pkaovil said in SSL Exception:

        go.ncsu.edu/jenkins-csc230

        It's working OK for me on Opera 36 if I override the certificate error warning.
        Can you not update the certificates?
        Is this actually an Opera problem, surely all browsers will reject the certificates if they are self signed and/or expired?
        🙂

        Still in mourning for Opera 12.........

            @pkaovil
            If it works on Opera 36, which already can't open some secure sites, it should certainly work on Opera 52!
            Are you saying that you can't override the certificate warning on Opera 52 and access the site(s)?
            You're always going to get the warning on any browser if the certificate(s) problems are there.
            Fixing the certificates themselves is surely the only permanent answer.
            🙂
