Mouse gestures stopped working in PDFs

Since 1-2 days ago, mouse gestures are suddenly not working anymore in tabs that display PDFs. Trying to execute a mouse gesture only opens the context menu. Did I accidentally change some setting?

I've gote exactly the same problem. What's wrong? I've spent more than an hour to check all settings and randomly toggle flags/experimetns - no success
