Opera 52 Problem with 360 video player / Oculus Rift

Hi All,
I recently download Opera 52 to watch 360 videos with my Oculus Rift.
I used it once and it was fantastic, however now the frame rate in the headset is extremely poor (5~ fps at best). The view on the desktop monitor is fine.
I'm running GTX 1070, i7 7700HQ and 32Gb of ram. It handles most heavy Rift games without issue and up until recently was playing Opera 360 videos fine too.
I have tried reinstalling and Opera, rolling back my Oculus home software and tweaking my NVIDIA settings to no avail.
Other Rift applications run normally.Looking for advice!
Cheers,
Jackson

I have the same problem. I do not know what is causing it. but I have also noticed that the settings button that is supposed to occupy the center space on the playback bar is missing.
