How to disable "New tab opens next to active tab"

I noticed that new tabs are now opening next to the active tab, instead of to the right of the previously opened tab. How do I disable this? And can Opera please stop changing my settings on every bloody update?

Correction: This seems to only apply to Speed Dial (holding CTRL and clicking Speed Dial bookmarks). While the old behavior still works on other sites. Seriously, wtf?
