Is a very long time that I encounter problems opening .mht - .mhtml and similar files (saved exclusively using Opera)
One way to solve partially the problem was to maintain a copy of the old Opera 12.17 version installed on the PC and use it to open the .mht - .mhtml and similar files, unfortunately this solved the problems not at 100%
I asked help on the forum more than one time but was not possible to find a solution to the problem
Now I've find a definitive solution to the problem and want to share it on the forum to help those people that has the same promlem, the solution is very simple and definitive
To open those .mht - . mhtml and similar file, change the association with the program to be used to open it and set Internet Explorer (I have IE 11 on the PC) as the program to be used, you will not regret it, all the files (if not corrupted) will always open without problems

Opera natively supports MHTML, but you have to manually enable it.
Just type/paste
opera://flags#save-page-as-mhtmlInto the address bar and opera will work with MHT files. It sucks that everyone told you there is no solution to this. There is. I've been using it since Opera 20.
