I can 't stop the news feed

Hi, I want to stop the news feed when you open a new page. On internet I find that the solution is that you go to settings advanced and turn it off. I don't have that option. Anybody a suggestion?

So there is no way to stop (or preferably delete the icon) the news feed? I am liking this browser less and less. I think I'll delete it an use something else.
