Gmail painfully slow to load

I just rebuilt my Windows 10 rig, so this is a fresh install. Opera 50.0.2762.58 (PGO) is painfully slow to load Gmail, which I set up in Speed Dial. Same slow loading when by skipping Speed Dial and going to Google. No problem loading in Chrome itself. Anyone else have this?

I have been experiencing the same problem for the last couple of months (ever since I installed Opera Developer on my computer). Opening Gmail in Chrome does not exhibit the same issue. I'm currently running Opera 55.0.2962.0 .
