Opera always highligted on Windows Task Bar

After the latest update ( 50.0.2762.58 (PGO)), I have noticed that the Opera Task Bar button on Windows is always highlighted. Even when you are working on a different winodow / application. It is as if Opera has a pop-up that is demanding your attention all your time. This happens even when there is nothing active on Opera. This is very distracting and irritating. Is anybody else experiencing this phenomenon?
