Synced bookmarks "Bookmarks bar" are completely gone on ALL devices!

I have an Android Tablet, Android phone & Macbook Air. I had hundreds of bookmarks in folder synced across all devices under the bookmarks bar. I have used Opera for years and never had an issue with them syncing.
If I got a new device & signed in, my speed dials were not there (I had to import from other speed dials) but my synced bookmarks from bookmarks bar were always there.
Welp a few days ago, I logged out of Opera on Macbook Air then completely wiped it and sold it. Then I logged into Opera from a new computer (MS Surface Pro 3) and ALL bookmarks from the bookmarks bar were GONE! I checked my tablet & phone - GONE too! I checked in "unsorted" and nothing.
I logged into my account online & also GONE. All other speed dials were there though. Anyone know what could have happened and a solution??
What's the use in synced bookmarks if they can disappear completely at any time??
