Mouse Cursor sometimes changes and won't change back to default?

Hi I've noticed that sometimes when I'm doing some actions very quickly like dragging the screen corner to resize, then move my mouse back into the browser window, the cursor remains the 'stretch' version, instead of going back to the default pointer. It's other cursors too sometimes like the text input one, or the hand. I noticed this happens over canvas elements, and haven't been able to reproduce it in any other browser.

I'm on v 50 and mac os 10.13.
