How to re-import bookmarks into Opera 18/19

I have already imported my bookmarks to Opera 19. They filled my bookmarks bar up. I deleted most of them and kept the ones I wanted to stay there.
Now I want those deleted ones back so thought I'd import my bookmarks again but it will not let me. I go to Bookmark Importer, click an option (speed dial or bookmark bar), click "next" and it is empty. I see no way to add any folders or files here or to import my bookmarks.html files or bookmark.adr file anywhere.
Can anyone help me?

In your previous post, you had one line that caught my eye:
"Accordingly, you may want to change your Opera 12 bookmarks(that is, which bookmarks appear on the bookmarks toolbar and those that don't), before importing these bookmarks into Opera 18."
THAT might be my problem because that is all I am getting every time I import my bookmarks.
Fingers crossed!!!!
Off to try.

That did it.
Bookmarks are now imported again, rearranged and managed with an extension and it's all good.

The Opera Next user profile folder is named whatever and located wherever your Opera Next installation says its named and located. And the profile folder may not actually be named "profile" or "data" (unless its Opera 18, USB(portable) installation, on Windows XP 32-bit, which your installation is not). And there is no supposed-to-be file named "Profile" AFAIK. Similarly, the Opera 12 user profile folder is named whatever and located wherever your Opera 12 installation says its named and located.
I still run Opera 12 and there is indeed a Profile folder there -- and always has been. Copying that file to the next update kept all my bookmarks, skins, themes, etc., consistent throughout multiple updates.
Opera does say what I posted : Profile: C:\Users\...\AppData\Roaming\Opera Software\Opera Next but there is no Profile folder in there.
Obviously, Opera has changed how things work.
