Video Player Haze

Since last update - all video players haze over when controls disappear - then unhazes when controls reappear (mouse over) then re-hazes when etc etc - tested other browsers (no haze) - updated drivers (haze on Opera) - tested Opera Beta 50 w/ no extensions (same problem) - removed extensions from stable (same problem) - noted issue on YouTube, Vid.me, Vimeo players both website and embedded - OS is WIN10 -
