Flash not working

Since upgrading to the latest version of Opera, Adobe Flash no longer works. I am running Mac OSX 10.11.6 with the most current version of Opera.
Version: 49.0.2725.39 - Opera is up to date
Update stream: Stable
System: Mac OS X 10.11.6 64-bitI tried:
Updating Flash Player
Restarted Opera
Deleting, then reinstalling Opera
Updated Flash Player, restarting Opera
Restarting Computer, restarting OperaPlease fix this. I used to like Opera.

@hockeyfan062 I am having the same problem, the powers that be at Opera sent me an email sending me to the forum here (which isn't solving my problem).

As you can see I am on the 5th try of installing the correct version of flash to no avail. Going to try a different browser. I am guessing being that we use Mac they're not quite sure how to fix the issue, which is why we get no solution.
Here is the link they sent in the email to me, and judging from the screen shot in it, it is a PC based computer. Good luck!

Installed version 50 because Version 48’s VPN will no longer work.
The problem with Flash has yet to be fixed. I am running Mac OS X 11.6 with the most current versions of Flash.
Since the developers appear to not care about making the browser work on the Mac platform, I recommend to all to stop wasting their time & switch to anything else.
Opera has become a joke.
