Laggy 60fps video playback on Twitch

Hi there.
Switched from Chrome to Opera 49 recently, everything is fine and dandy except one thing: Twitch streams. The video quite often stutters and drops a lot of frames when compared to Chrome. I also had to install MS's Media Feature Pack to even get the video to play, without resorting to Flash.
I tried disabling HW acceleration in opera://flags (Hardware-accelerated video decode and Hardware-accelerated video encoder accessed using Mojo IPC), it helped a little but mostly in fullscreen.
OS: Windows 10 Pro N x64, version 1703
My specs are i5-4590 3.3 x4, GTX 1070 Ti, 16GB RAM, so I doubt it's a hardware problem.
Is there anything I can do about this? Worst case scenario, how can I switch back to Flash without uninstalling the Media Feature Pack?

Can't seem to edit my OP so I'll have to resort to posting a response.
I think I managed to fix the issue. The problem was that I have two monitors, one 60 Hz panel and one 144 Hz. With the 144hz being set as a default display in Windows' settings, streams were laggy on the 60 Hz panel but were fine on the 2nd one, after switching default display to the 60 hz, streams run buttery smooth on both.
