The last update of Opera mini sucks

It’s takes a long time to open up and each time I switch between apps , it loads again. The version 16.0.4 is one of the worst update I ever seen. Using opera for years and through its evolution the devs always brings it simpler and that’s why it’s named “mini” I guess but now they’re bringing it with ads and news. At least let the users to turn it off. And during multitasking it closes automatically , closes the tabs (lost a lot). The sooner there’s an update , the better my life will be.

@sagowtham Opera iOS is a complete mess. It's very slow and crashes a lot - has been this way for a number of years. Deleting browsing data doesn't clear any tabs that are open and they load the next time you open the browser if you haven't closed them. Each new update seems to get a little bit worse. Over at the Opera Blogs, there's a lot of posts about Opera for Android and hardly any for iOS. I do wonder why their iOS browser is so neglected. Even Firefox have put together a half decent iOS browser now.

@cozza I’ve been using opera for more than 5 years. I’ve got all my bookmarks and stuff in it. Using opera giving me a wonderful feel but this shit is getting me crazy. You think Firefox is good for iOS?? I use the same browser in both desktop devices and mobile devices.

@sagowtham Firefox on iOS isn't perfect and not as user friendly as Safari (which isn't perfect either) but compared to Opera iOS it's a million times better. It's missing some useful features including more security features though, which is a real shame.
