Embedded Youtube HTML5 videos not playing

On some news links on yahoo with an embedded YOUTUBE video in a news feed, I get the following message:
"Your browser does not currently recognize any of the video formats available.
Click here to visit our frequently asked questions about HTML5 video"

So, I click and it says that my browser does not support H.264 or WebM VP8. I have installed the following extensions:
FlashPlayer for YouTube
WebM for NeoGAF
YouTube Flash-HTML5

Any help out there? I like Opera, but this has been a real stressful issue that Chrome does not have.
