Opera 48 Google Maps lags

Google Maps starts in a lite mode. When turning on the full mode it becomes laggy, draggin around ,whatchin pictures or 3d scenes, everything freezes.
It's not a PC problem, on previous opera worked fine. With Google Chrome works fine now too.
Any ideas? anyone had the same problem? -

Same here. Not just Google Maps but also Here Maps. Both run smoothly in other browsers. In Opera without any extensions they load extremely slow and cannot be used. Other stuff like streaming videos works fine though.
Version: 48.0.2685.39 (PGO) - Opera is up to date

I just noticed that switching on hardware acceleration in settings/browser/systems solves the issue ...
