Github.com never loads

Visiting any page on the Github.com domain causes the tab to spin indefinitely (half an hour by now with no failure message or other change in browser state). Browser tools show no network traffic. All other browsers load Github without issues.

I'm on Mac OS 10.11.6.

Looks like I just needed to restart Opera.
