Posts Duplicated On 3rd Party Forum

Morning folks,
I'm currently trying out Opera as a Firefox replacement. It's been generally a positive experience,especially in terms of page loading speed. However, I have an issue with one particular website.
When looking at comments on news articles contained on The Guardian , if I expand a comment that has several replies, I see many duplicate comments from earlier in the thread. E.g. in a page of 100 comments some are repeated several times. This does not happen with Firefox or Edge, only Opera.
This may be an issue with other sites but I don't generally follow many other forums.
Any ideas on how to correct this?
