Cannot update beta 46.0.2597.6 to either .14 or .19, nor uninstall current version

I've only had the beta version installed for a little while (maybe a month or less). It keeps telling me an update is available, but no method of installing the update works. The installer runs and then just says it failed. I've tried installing the latest full beta, but it also fails. I've tried running the install download file as Administrator, same thing. I can see the entry in my Windows 10 Pro (ver 1703, build 15063.296) Add/Remove Programs dialog, and the Uninstall button is "live", but when I click it, nothing at all happens. How do I get unstuck?

Welcome to Opera's forums @Bcook7575!
Back up your profile (read in my signature) and try with iObit uninstaller and cCleaner to uninstall and clean any traces of the broken installation.
(There are portable versions for both programs too.)
