How can I make Opera open new tabs in the foreground? I would like to switch to the new tab immediately after the right mouse click "open in new tab". Is it possible?
Thanks

For me this is still a workaround: I would like "Firefox-Behaviour" (for example the "Tab mix plus"-extension) in Opera: Opening a link in a new tab with only (!) a click! (Without right click "open in new tab), but it seems that's not possible... because Opera is a chrome-based browser.
BTW: "Shift+cmd+click" opens a link directly in a new tab, without any extension...and no right click. -

With this you have to use the keyboard also but using less keys.

Middle-click works to open a link in a new tab. You need at least a 3-button pointing device to do that.

In this post there is a link to an extension that might help.

AFAIK: Opera opens always a link in the same (active) tab in the foreground. That doesn't solve the "problem" of the "new tab behavior".
