What does the message "CRX_MAGIC_NUMBER_INVALID" mean? It has to do with extensions. It cannot be just a character count.
Is it some kind of checksum, or does it refer to encryption, or what? -

I tried to unarchive the extension installer, modify one of the files, then rearchive it. The new archive did not install, and I got that message, "CRX_MAGIC_NUMBER_INVALID". What is CRX? What is this "magic number"?
