Home Button in News Feed for Opera beta 42.8

I see they added a refresh button for the news feed, but why did they replace the home button with a search button in news feed? Hitting the home button used to bring you right back to speed dial, which was quite useful. Now you have to scroll back through all the channels back to speed dial now. The search key just takes you to the search bar which you had to do anyway in order to search- not so useful. Have I missed something?
