What is "Select Code-Signing Certificate"

This is listed in the "Options for Opera Mini 8"
Anyone know what it does?

I have a minimalistic Samsung S390G on Straight Talk phone service and Opera Mini works like a champ on our phone!

Try to install one.
The Code-Signing Certificate is only for your phones system to check if you install original, secure Opera software.
