Browser crashing on Coolpad Arise 5560S--Kk 4.4.2

Opera crashes quite frequently. Wonder if Opera is compatible with Android 4.4.2? Have read many "help sites" and so far, none of the "fixes" apply to this phone. [Coolpad Arise 5560S--Kk 4.4.2] Is there a better OPERA browser for this phone/ O.S.?
