Large battery consumption

Hello,
maybe it was already discussed, but I couldn't find it. My problem is, when using Opera 20.0.1387.91 on 64bit Windows 8 on laptop, according to battery life indicator, battery life drops from approx 5h to 2 hours. My specs are: Intel i7 2670QM, nvidia optimus (intel hd 3000 / nvidia GT540M), 6GB RAM. Asus N53SV.
I have tried switching graphics card in use for Opera, but it didn't help. When using other browsers, this problem doesn't occur. If you have any ideas, I would be happy. Opera is fast and stable browser, and it would be shame to be stuck with slow and buggy Firefox.
