Links not working properly

So I can be on any website. If I click the link it will open a new tab in the background (That's all good) But when I change tab it hasn't loaded any of the webpage, but says it has finished.
However, the links always work if I right click on the link and press 'Open Link in New Tab'.

Any help appreciated as it is driving insane!
