Saving bookmarks & stopping favicons

Is there some kind of Terminal tweak that could do that, similar to blocking favicons from Safari?
If there is I do not know. Maybe Google or another user knows something about.

Bookmarks Bar favicons will be automatically pulled (I guess from Opera servers or generally from the net)
You can't control that. Once you are online, Opera will check which bookmark from Bookmarks Bar is missing favicon and try to pull it
Other bookmarks won't pull favicons (if missing), unless you visit them (they will be visible in next session I think, not immediately) or if you load favicons from HTML file
I'm not sure about favicons behavior when imported (during install) from other browsers, probably it will pull available favicons too -

I think I managed to stop the Favicons. After using this procedure, I do not see favicons in my bookmarks any more.
"Delete ~Library/Application Support/com.operasoftware.Opera/Favicons & with Terminal:
cd ~/Library/Application\ Support/com.operasoftware.Opera
ln -s /dev/null Favicons"That makes the Favicons file look like an alias, and I got no more favicons.

How do you get this forum to put proper linebreaks into code?

That worked only once.
How do I get rid of posts here? I cannot seem to delete anything.

I guess the only way to stop the Favicons is to lock the file in the profile. I shall try that and see what happens.

Editing the whole thing just saves the original and adds a new post. There ought to be some way to delete one's own posts.

Just can be edit within the 30' since are done.
The only way to "delete" them it's to report them and explain the reason "duplication" in the message to the moderators.

Just for the record, locking the Favicons file in the profile does indeed stop them from appearing in the bookmarks.
