Reload page- reloads yesterday's page

Since the Report a Problem page isn't working today, I'll report this problem here.
Opera 43 - when I reload a page on the NY Times website, and possibly other news sites, a past (possibly yesterday's) edition appears, rather than today's edition that I've just been reading. Presumably from the cache, but maybe somewhere else?. Clearing browsing data including the cache doesn't seem to solve the problem. This has happened 3 or 4 times, but not every time I reload a page.
