Opera Mail doesn't collect EMails AT ALL

including the email with the new password for this forum.
There is no error message just a "no new emails" message in the lower right corner.
I switched to Opera Mail today from Opera 12.16 and I already regret that decision.
What a piece of shit Opera has turned into.
SOLVED!
Apparently when the firewall blocks Opera Mail from connecting to the internet the error message is not: CAN NOT CONNECT TO THE INTERNET/SERVER.
No, it is "no new emails".
