I have been a PC user for years and would like move to a iMac desktop.

I have downloaded and installed Opera but cannot customize it to fit my needs. Basically, when I open Opera, I would like to open to a Homepage (ie: local news website) and have my favorites on the left and bookmark menus on top.

I understand that that I'm asking Opera to function like Internet Explorer but I find IE very user friendly for appearance.

I've searched for solutions but have not made any progress. If it's not possible, I understand but if it is, please let me know.

Is it possible to receive an answer?

I'd like to switch to a Mac full time but cannot until I resolve my issues, like this one.

That could be done by default, except bookmarks in the left side, for that you'll need an extensions, V7 Bookmarks from Vux777 could do the trick.

Did you checked the options¿?
