Can't play Pandora

I just installed Opera yesterday for the first time. I have it on both my Windows 7 laptop and my Mac Mavericks computer. On the Mac, Opera plays Pandora just fine.
On the laptop using Opera, I get the following message "It is taking longer than expected to fetch the next song to play. The music should be playing soon. If you get tired of waiting, you can try reloading your browser." However, also on the laptop, I can play Pandora with no problems on Chrome.
Would appreciate any suggestions as to what I can do to fix this.
My laptop is an Aspire 7750-6423; Intel Core i5 2430M; 4GB RAM. Not sure what else might be helpful.

Not sure what the problem is, PegM. I generally don't play Pandora although I have a subscription there but decided for the sake of curiosity to check it out with Opera 20. It started immediately once I signed in and is playing without any problem. About all I can suggest might be the extensions you have for Opera. Have you tried disabling them all and then going to Pandora?

Had same problem with Pandora and other flash like youtube, I finally fixed it....Go under opera menu and un check Opera turbo if it is checked, that is what worked for me. I really like Opera and was just getting ready to dump it because of that so I am really happy its working. Hope that helps
