See Opera Saved passwords without a Windows Password

I do not use a password on any of my computer to log in because they are pretty worthless. A simple hack can get beyond the windows password to get just about anything. So why does Opera require this? I cannot get around this and I have been frustrated for month. I have had to continue to use Firefox to read my old passwords.
Please advise. I need to be able to access when a windows pc has no password.
