cannot connect to twitch.tv

Hi there im having problems connecting to twitch.tv.

Im using opera beta 42, mac Yosemite.

when i visit twitch.tv i only get a black screen, it was ok yesterday but not working today,

I tried in safari and all works fine

So i tried to delete Opera history, cache, cookies etc and this did not work,
reset my router, this did not work.
disabled extensions, this did not work

The only thing thats working at the moment is using opera's VPN

anyone got any ideas on this
