Chrome PDF pixelated when zooming in and out with finger

Chrome PDF has plus, minus button on lower right corner to zoom PDF documents. Using these buttons then the document is zoomed in and out correctly, crisp and clear. However, finger pinch (touchscreen) does not translate to the same functionality on pdf documents, instead the document is zoomed in and out pixelated.

It is probably mapped to Opera's zoom function and not the plugins zoom function.

Is this a bug ? if it is not, how do I map the finger pinch to chrome pdf zoom function ?
