Speed dial free compartments

Hello to all !
I have a problem with "Speed Dial" on Windows-XP :
With the old version OPERA-11, I could use certain compartments and leave other in free places chosen by me.
Ex : with the configuration 5 x 5, I had a line with 5 links towards the daily press, an other
line with only 2 links towards Music sites and 3 space, then the following line with 4 links towards the Scientific sites and 1 space, etc....The empty compartments stayed and were filled only on MY OWN initiative, what allowed me to keep every line "specialized" for a given discipline, full or not.
Now, with OPERA-20, it is impossible: if I free a compartment in a given line, it is automatically filled by its ex-neighbor, and I cannot manage any more "Speed Dial" as " I " wish !
Hence my question : is there a regulation to be marked who allows me to manage the location of the links as " I " want ??
Thanks for any answer
Cordially

I think the best you can do is design a local home page, or just a blank page and use that URL as a blank slot as often as you like.
I have a home page with some useful links on it.

The solutions I recommend are:
- Add "about:blank" pages to the Speed Dial to make "blank slots", edit the title to the character Alt+0160 "Â " to make it blank.
Or:
- Don't mind it / organize better / use Speed Dial folders.

Thank you for your advice, I am going to try to apply them.
But it had been more logical than Opera retain the compartments organization possibilities of the 11-version !!!
I do not still understand why compartments are ARBITRARLY re-organized without taking into account wishes of the users . In brief, it pleases me not at allCordially
