Saving passwords

I can't figure out how to get my browser on Android to save passwords upon logging into a website. I see nothing related in the settings menu. It's not even clear to me if this is a feature at all, although I may have said "Never" in the past when asked if the browser should remember passwords. I would like to remember passwords for a handful of sites, however. Can anyone help me out? Many thanks.

There is no password manager with opera,
You save the password when it prompts on certain sites,thats it.

The password saving features is not that useful on Opera mobile apps.

This seems doesn't work on some sites. No prompts displayed.
