Java 7 for opera 12.xx

Is there a special Java version for OPERA 12.16?Wen I click on a link,that link will not open.I am using Win 7Pro.Why will these links not open?Thanks for any help.

• Install Java 7 from http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/java/javase/downloads/java-se-jre-7-download-432155.html
• Start Javacpl.exe
• In Security tab select Enable Java content in Browser

Opera will work with it.
