Opera button appearance problem

I got that strange feeling that Opera is getting worse. Nonetheless my Opera button doesn't fit well. Is that normal? Cause I gota admit I don't like it. I'm attaching the screen of my bastradly wrong fitted button.
Just for the record, I'm using Windows 8.1

It doesn't look like a "button" anymore because it's flat and square, which must be the new way to excercise the eyes along with low contrast (to compensate for high contrast LCDs no doubt).
