Opera Bugs/Errors/MissingFeatures/Crashing

So far as I've noticed when I play some videos, whether it be youtube or some other form of media player opera will crash.
Version: 40.0.2308.62
System: Mac OS X 10.12.1 64-bit
I also have the feeling that my javascript doesn't work, even though it's clearly enabled in the settings.
For example this site: gifboom.com is blank while it used to load before

Expected result: Some gifs should be loading

Extra Information: Uploading on imgur does not work for me, stays stuck at "Preparing uploader..." when trying to upload an image
