How to activate the built in VPN

Where is the VPN switch. I just downloaded the latest version and it doesnt show

Please go to Settings > Privacy & Security, and then scroll to the "VPN" section. There's a checkbox that should be selected in order to enable VPN.

On the main page of the browser click VPN to enable it and you can also change which country to use. Thanx,

VPN shows "VPN is temporarily unavailable." message and there is only "Optimal location" in Virtual location.

It was fully enabled with Opera version 40. Are you running Opera 39? If so, either updated to version 40 or enable the VPN in the Opera Flags page.
