I want to disable the Discover tab

Why can I not disable the Discover tab? I don't want it. Why am I forced to have it and not have the option to disable it in the settings?

Hi,

In the latest beta we give you the option to disable the news feed. Under Settings -> Home, you can select to not show news feed.
