touchpad scroll speed too fast

current opera version: 39.0.xxx on win 10.
the scroll is crazy. it's ok in all browsers but opera. in opera i must move imperceptibly my fingertips to acceptably scroll and see what i am doing. if i even think to swipe the window is scrolled 1 kilometer down to the bottom.
i'd really appreciate a configuration parameter in opera to manage the speed.and no, i won't install some javascript plugin for mouse-scrolling.
anyone have solutions?

I have the same problem, it is so annoying that I hardly ever use Opera now. I had hoped it would be fixed with the new version, but still the same
