Using backspace in the address field to delete but browser go back to previous page in the history

Hi,
i use opera beta, always update, on ubuntu 16.04.
When i try to delete, using backspace, a piece of the address in the address field the browser go to the previous page (perform history -1).
I'm a developer and i have to change frequently the address, this problem is very boring.
Anyone have this problem ? It's a bug ?
