bookmark no confirmation

why do i have to click a confirmation popup windows when i add a bookmark from the adress bar obviously it is difficult to drag and drop from adress bar to bookmar bar mistakenly and it is not the end of the world i can just delete but having to confirm each page i add to bookmarks is annoying is there a preference for that not to ask me when adding a bookmark

Its so you can edit the details of the bookmark. You can select the folder you wish to place the bookmark in, the title, the web address, and even select the thumbnail you wish to use.
As for confirming, you can't actually have to do anything. The window pops up but if you don't want to make any changes you can just keep doing what you were doing. It wont stop you from navigating to a different tab or closing the tab or anything like that.

Actually it does get in my way, I cant navigate to another tab and only the name can be edited ..
Changes you mentioned can be done anytime by right clicking the bookmark ..
I see no reason why should I confirm I am not deletening anything and it is not a security problem opera is just increasing the number of the clicks with an unneeded feature.. at least add a function like dont ask me again or something as I mentioned above adding a bookmark by drag and drop is done almost %100 delberately confirmation dialogue or edit name or any other thing can be useful when adding a bookmark via bookmark button but simply drg&drp quickly is more convenient

I guess you where talking about the bookmark icon I am talking about holding down mouse button to carry the adress bar to bookmark bar and that nasty popup window gets in the way what you mentioned is good but I am talking about drag and dropping

Ah, I missed that part. Yeah, I don't use that feature. Sorry I can't help you there.
