Can't sign-in to Fox Sports with Opera 12.16

Fox Sports uses Janrain Engage 3rd party software for its sign-in.
The text entry fields (user name and password) disappear, but the sign-in box remains and the actual sign-in doesn't occur. There are no error messages.
Anyone have any ideas on what preference or setting might control this behavior?

Have you tried identifying or masking as a different browser, using site preferences?
(Right click on the page>Edit Site Preferences>Network tab)

Thanks for the tip. I wasn't aware of that option. Unfortunately, it doesn't change the result. Regardless of whether I set it to Identify as IE or Firefox, the text entry boxes disappear and no further processing takes place.
The funny thing is that this process works fine in Opera 20. (Not quite ready to make the switch, but I'm working on it!)

unfortunately, the 12.16 is getting old to browser nowadays. I think better you go testing the current Opera when the old one doesn't work fine.
