Turn off news?

To preserve bandwidth, is there a way to prevent News from loading the titles of the news stores in the categories? I would prefer to be able to turn it off.

ya. Goto settings, then advanced & then Start page content then set 'speed dial only'

The advanced settings only offers
User Agent
Accept Cookies
Block PopupsNothing else
No start page content(Opera Mini, IOS )
