Full Screen Doesn't Open Properly from Link

A small irritant.
If Opera is running in the background in full screen mode, and I click on a link in an email Opera becomes the active application but doesn’t display a window. (This doesn’t happen when not in full screen mode.) Instead, I see Opera as the active application on the menu bar but the screen display is of my desktop. I have to open another application then go back to Opera where it will open in full screen mode and show the link I originally clicked on or choose "Window" from the menu bar and click "Bring All to Front."
