Video and startup

Not having much luck with Opera. Windows 8.1

Will not play most videos but sometimes does, ridiculous...

Also very slow at start up as it has the same bug as in Chrome, it will not do anything until it "updates" which is also absolutely ridiculous..

Any thoughts how to remedy these bugs..

Works fine in Mozilla, Chrome..
